Two enterprises from the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone – located in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – recently did well in the finals of the Taizhou Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Award.
An intraoperative neural monitoring and navigation system developed by Jiangsu Baining Yingchuang Medical Technology Co Ltd grabbed first prize, while a new bidirectional damping precision hinge project developed by Jiangsu SACA Precision Technology Co Ltd won third prize.
The monitoring and navigation system project has received certification from the China Food and Drug Administration, breaking the monopoly of foreign medical giants in the market and realizing a domestic substitution.
