The Taixing High-tech Zone, located in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, is advancing the construction of a slew of projects and has seen 15 projects, costing over 100 million yuan ($13.75 million) each, break ground since the start of the year.
The projects cover multiple fields such as technological innovation and intelligent manufacturing, which are expected to inject strong impetus into the high-quality development of the regional economy.
At the premises of Jiangsu Tianyou Xingyuan Hydraulic Technology, its high-precision hydraulic multiway valve and high-end hydraulic cylinder intelligent factory is under construction.
With an investment of 528 million yuan, when up and running it will make 120,000 sets of precision engineering hydraulic multiway valves and 300,000 sets of high-precision hydraulic cylinders annually.
Elsewhere, a plant for Jiangsu Gangcheng New Material Technology, which will mainly produce touch glass panels and functional special glass for the home appliance industry, is expected to be completed by June next year.
The facility will be divided into six individual units and the foundation for its office building has already been completed.
In addition, the Jiangsu Jicui Semiconductor Ceramic Materials Research Institute, with advantages in research into advanced structural ceramic materials and preparation technology for precision ceramic components, is expected to conduct trial production by the end of the year.
