The Taixing High-tech Zone – located in Taixing city, a county-level city administered by Taizhou, in East China's Jiangsu province – is striving to promote the multidimensional integration of its industry, innovation, talent and capital in the current year.
The zone is pushing ahead vigorously with the construction of projects and industries.
In early January, building projects for its economic construction center were completed, with a total investment of 560 million yuan ($83 million). The zone aims to bolster its vitality. A brand demonstration area for Fengqi Outlets, with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan, will be opened in the Spring Festival, earlier than scheduled. Its sales in the first year of operation are expected to be 500-600 million yuan.
What's more, the zone will focus on building a national supervision and inspection center for electromechanical products. It will also focus on improving the efficiency of its green financial services center, improving the market operation of the Shanghai (Hongqiao) Offshore Innovation Center and on building R&D institutions.
To better facilitate its industry development, the zone will also leverage its existing service platform to provide all-round, all-cycle, all-chain services for resident businesses, according to a zone official.
