Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province recently released a list of finalists for the 2024 "Smart Creation Taizhou" Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
Seven projects from Taixing, a county-level city administered by Taizhou, were shortlisted. Of these, four projects were from the Taixing High-tech Zone.
The four are from companies that have settled in the zone, namely Jiangsu Jicui Semiconductor Ceramic Materials Research Institute, Taizhou Huatuo Electronic Technology, Narui Scientific Instruments and Jiangsu S.Unity Intelligent Science and Technology.
Since the launch of the competition in July, the zone has organized talent teams and sci-tech innovation business enterprises to participate.
It has also conducted on-site tutoring sessions to help them fill out registration materials and prepare roadshow presentations.
Leveraging the talent attraction and recruiting effect of high-end competition events, plans are for the zone to continue to explore and cultivate high-quality sci-tech innovation enterprises and guide them to concentrate on developing new quality productive forces, thereby giving birth to a batch of new products, technologies, models and formats.
