Taixing city – administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province – adds 49 new technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises into the local scientific and technological innovation support system, bringing the city's total to 566 included enterprises.
This is according to the list released by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology on Oct 16.
In addition to enjoying R&D expense deductions; these recognized enterprises can also receive policy support after declaring municipal-level or above technology projects.
Technology-based SMEs are the foundation for cultivating innovative enterprises as they support enterprises that want to enter or have newly entered the innovation field.
In recent years, Taixing has continued to encourage local SMEs to declare for recognition.
Looking ahead, the city will continue to carry out targeted match-making services for local technology-based SMEs to encourage them to gain both development momentum and recognition.
