Since the beginning of this year, the Taixing High-tech Zone in Taixing city, administered by Taizhou in Jiangsu province, has pushed hard to progress construction on key projects to empower its high-quality development.
Jiangsu Tailong Decelerator Machinery Co Ltd is accelerating construction on Phase II of the Tailong Transmission Technology Industrial Park project. With a total investment of 1.05 billion yuan ($147.19 million), the project will build new intelligent production workshops, testing centers, and research and development centers.
Once at full capacity, the project is expected to produce 1,880 sets of steel cord equipment and 52,350 sets of electrical machinery annually, according to Tang Zhiping, sales director of the company.

Key projects in the service industry are also accelerating their construction. One example is the Caifu Center (Fortune Center) building, which is projected to offer high-quality office and living services for resident businesses. The project is worth 500 million yuan, and will feature a main building that is 24 floors high.
At the end of July, its main structure will be capped, and work on the project’s interior and exterior facade curtain wall will follow. This work will be completed by the end of the year, said Wang Jue, a project leader.
The overall goal of the zone this year is to begin construction on 18 new projects worth over 100 million yuan each. It also aims to complete construction on 14 ongoing projects worth over 100 million yuan each.
