The shipbuilding industry in Taixing – located in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – shows an upward trend as key shipbuilding manufacturers there have arranged their orders to the year 2027.
Statistics showed that the invoiced sales of the city's shipbuilding industry from January to May reached 2.83 billion yuan ($390,25 million).

Since March, the company has achieved its goal of delivering one 24,000-TEU container ship every month.
In recent years, the Taixing bureau of industry and information technology has focused on industrial construction, safety supervision and technical transformation. This was done to promote shipbuilding manufacturers towards high-end, intelligent and green development.
In terms of safety production, Huatai Shipbuilding, Hongfu Shipbuilding and Dayang Offshore Equipment Co Ltd have all received their certification for level-three safety standardization. Additionally, Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding has received its certification for level-two safety standardization.
