Taixing is doubling down on its reputation as a business-friendly destination with a fresh wave of reforms outlined in its development plan for the next five years.
Taixing has unveiled its economic blueprint for the coming five years, targeting annual GDP growth above 5 percent and aiming to push total output past 200 billion yuan ($29.48 billion) by the end of the period.
During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), Taixing's cumulative foreign trade reached $30 billion, marking a 50 percent increase compared to the previous five years.
On the first day of the 138th China Import and Export Fair, which began on Oct 15 in Guangzhou, 28 enterprises from Taixing city secured orders worth $2.77 million.
The high-end baked food project, set to be established in the Taixing Modern Agricultural Industrial Park, Taixing, Jiangsu province, is projected to be completed by the end of the year.
