By the end of the plan period, it aims to achieve industrial invoice sales of 60 billion yuan ($8.62 billion) and form two 20-billion-yuan industrial clusters focusing on ships and high-end equipment, as well as a 10-billion-yuan cluster in the metal new materials industry.
The park will strive to better integrate into China's new development paradigm. Efforts will include further opening up to the outside world and creating a manufacturing base for high-tech large-scale equipment as well as a base aimed at expanding the international market for major national key machinery.
