Gu Yi, vice-chairman and chief scientist of the company, graduated from the University of California, joined the company in 2020, devoting himself to the research and development of centrifuges with advanced technology learned from overseas.

Saideli launched the construction of a global centrifuge diagnostic center at the end of 2020. By collaborating with Xi'an Jiaotong University and Jiangnan University, Gu and his team succeeded in creating a remote monitoring network covering the entire world and inventing key technologies for intelligent collaborative measurement, control, and diagnosis of centrifuges.
In 2022, this technology was appraised by an expert group organized by the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu, marking that the dynamic feature modeling method of centrifuges based on AI has reached the international leading level.
Gu believes that only by constantly researching new technologies and launching new products can enterprises succeed in the long run. Saideli currently has a multidisciplinary R&D team of more than 100 people.
In 2024, Gu and hist team developed the FW1300 bag flipping and unloading centrifuge with intelligent remote diagnosis function, breaking through the technological monopoly of foreign countries in large-diameter bag flipping centrifuges.
