The Jingjiang Huasui Grain Group's five collection and storage points have been bustling with the autumn grain acquisition process, with Jingjiang, a county-level city in Taizhou, entering the grain harvest season.
Since the acquisition commenced, Yangzijiang Modern Grain Logistics Co Ltd, one of the collection and storage points, has designated a team to manage consultations and reception, safeguarding farmers' rights and interests throughout the process.
"Here, not only are the prices transparent, but they are also fair and just. As soon as the grain is sold, the money is transferred to my bank, and I feel very secure," said Wan Guohua, a grain farmer from Donglai village, Jingjiang.
"During autumn grain acquisition, we have pre-emptively vacated four grain warehouses, totaling 4,500 metric tons of storage capacity, and our company has received over 1,500 tons of rice so far," said Sun Yaodong, the director of the storage department of Houhe Grain Collection and Storage Co Ltd, another collection and storage point.
In addition to traditional centralized purchases, the Huasui Grain Group also encourages and guides farmers to utilize online platforms for pre-bookings of grain sales.
As of Nov 25, the Huasui Grain Group had collectively purchased a total of 15,720 tons of autumn harvest grain.
