The 136th China Import and Export Fair, or Canton Fair, concluded with fruitful results on Nov 4. Twenty-five companies from Jingjiang, a county-level city in Taizhou, achieved an intended transaction amount of over $9 million.
These firms presented a range of mechanical and electrical products such as forklifts, new energy water heaters, fully automatic riveting machines. Additionally, they displayed light industry products like textiles, display racks, and home goods.
The Canton Fair consisted of three phases, and 12 Jingjiang companies participated in the first phase, focusing mainly on mechanical and electrical manufacturing. They introduced high-tech new products, achieving intended transactions worth $6.8 million.
In the second phase, two companies specializing in garden and home products and gift display racks that showcase aesthetics and creativity, achieved intended transactions amounting to $1.13 million.
The third phase featured 12 companies specializing in textiles, clothing accessories, and bags, with intended transactions amounting to over $1.5 million.
Many exhibitors expressed that the Canton Fair is not only a platform for showcasing and selling products but also a platform for learning and exchange. Engaging directly with buyers helps companies better understand market demands and develop new products that set market trends.
