The opening ceremony of the Jiangsu autumn consumption festival and the delicacy-themed consumption season kicked off in Jingjiang, a county-level city in Taizhou, on Sept 20.
The province will host over 2,000 consumption promotions from September to November, involving nearly 20,000 enterprises. Taizhou released policies tailored to the specific conditions of each city to stimulate the consumption craze.
In addition, the China Hospitality Association and the Jingjiang municipal people's government signed an agreement to develop the city's delicacy industry, promoting the sustainable and healthy development of its seasonal food products and industrial chain.
Jürgen Ludwig, chief executive of Ansbach in Germany, Jingjiang's sister city, also sent a congratulatory video celebrating the successful launch of the event.

Running from Sept 20 to 22, the delicacy-themed consumption season featured six themed fairs, including a delicacy fair, a Jingjiang specialty fair, and a coffee and music fair.
The delicacy fair not only featured Jingjiang's renowned soup dumplings and pork jerky but also highlighted a variety of specialty food from across the country, offering an exceptional culinary experience for consumers.
