In the area of metal materials, Tsingshan Holding Group's new industrial park is rapidly taking shape, with six projects already operational.
On the maritime front, a clean energy equipment intelligent manufacturing plant being erected by marine environmental protection management solutions provider Shanghai Bluesoul Environmental Technology Co Ltd is widely viewed as a standout pivotal endeavor in the region this year.
Progress is now evident there, as the main structure of the project plant has been finished, with various workshops and production lines fast taking shape. The project is on track to start operations in September.
In addition, several other ventures such as manufacturer Jiangyin Free Metal Technology Co Ltd's aerospace seals and intelligent equipment forming plant, Jingjiang-based New Times Shipbuilding Co Ltd's intelligent manufacturing plant and a 2,000 megawatts unit expansion plant being undertaken by power utility Jiangsu Guoxin Investment Group Limited are all advancing steadily.
Moving forwards, plans are for the development zone to push these projects forward quickly to boost the local economy.
By concentrating efforts and resources on these initiatives, the aim is to improve existing industries and support the growth of emerging industries in the region.
