Following a total investment of $300 million, the port has 693 meters of Yangtze River shoreline available, along with two 100,000-metric-ton berths.

These berths can accommodate 50,000-ton and 100,000-ton ships and the port is designed to handle 13.6 million tons of shipping annually.

The Ding Xin 109 cargo ship from the port city of Qinhuangdao is 209 meters long and has a cargo capacity of 63,000 tons.

It transports its goods to shallow draft river-going vessels via an automatic conveyor belt, to supply upstream power plants and ensure energy supplies during winter.

Special bunkers have been constructed to ensure the fully enclosed management of materials throughout the entire process, including unloading, conveying, storage and loading.

Additionally, the tops of the bunkers are equipped with a solar power generation system. The solar power panels cover 80,000 square meters across the three bunkers and generate up to 13 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually.

The intelligent logistics park aims to establish itself as a leading intelligent, eco-friendly and modern port base.
