A total of 28 foreign trade enterprises based in Jingjiang city – a county-level city, administered by Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – are scheduled to attend the 134th China Import and Export Fair.
Also known as the Canton Fair, it's being held in Guangzhou, capital of South China's Guangdong province from Oct 15 to Nov 4.
Among the participants, 15 Jingjiang manufacturers are currently participating in the first phase of the Canton Fair from Oct 15 to 19.
The exhibit categories include construction machinery, agricultural machinery, new energy, hardware, tools and more. Many of them focus on showcasing the characteristics of their independently developed products.
Two enterprises will participate in the second phase of the expo on Oct 23. The exhibit categories will involve garden supplies and gifts.
Moreover, some 11 enterprises will participate in the third phase of the exhibition. This includes exhibit categories such as home textiles, bags, toys, men's and women's apparel, apparel trimmings and accessories.
The number of overseas buyers expected to attend this year's Canton Fair is estimated to increase significantly compared with the 133rd Canton Fair.
The Jingjiang Bureau of Commerce is currently busy providing support and guarantees for the work of the enterprises – to help them make the most of the global platform to meet customers, secure orders and expand into international markets.
