Paving the way for this performance, the city has implemented an innovation-driven strategy to strengthen the industrial sector – focusing on expanding industries and implementing intelligent solutions.
One company that is said to exemplify this approach is Jiangsu Minsheng Heavy Industries, which has partnered with the Nanjing Institute of Technology to develop energy storage and lithium battery technology.
From January to July, its production and sales increased by 15 percent compared with the same period last year and is expected to realize sales of more than 1.2 billion yuan for the whole year.
Another local company, Jingjiang Yourshine Optoelectronics Technology, has made great strides in the LED backlight industry by entering the supply systems of international automobile brands.
