A raft of plants in the first phase of the Jingjiang Stainless Steel Deep Processing Industrial Park, being operated by Tsingshan Holding Group – located in Jingjiang city, in East China's Jiangsu province – were completed and started operating recently.

The new facilities include nine intelligent production lines being run by manufacturer Xiangrui Stainless Steel Wire (Jingjiang) Co Ltd.
Currently, all nine production lines are operational and have improved production efficiency by 2-3 times compared with conventional production plants in the sector.
Once running at full capacity, the annual production of stainless-steel wire (rods) by the company is expected to reach 200,000 metric tons.

Overall, six projects in the first phase are expected to start operating soon and the zone is currently accelerating the marketing and promotion of the second-phase projects.
With a total investment of 12 billion yuan ($1.65 billion), the stainless steel processing park is said to be the largest and highest-quality project in Jingjiang in recent years.
