An increasing number of enterprises in Jingjiang – a county-level city in Taizhou, East China's Jiangsu province – have been participating in overseas exhibitions this year with the aim of expanding their business.
As a result, Jingjiang city generated a total import and export value of $2.27 billion in the first half of this year, a 21.8 percent year-on-year increase.
Among these companies is Jiangsu Jland Biotech Co Ltd, a biotechnology and cosmetic enterprise that has participated in exhibitions like the Natural Products Expo West in the United States.

During this expo, the company showcased its self-developed cosmetic-grade recombinant collagen, which attracted many international buyers.
Other major enterprises such as Jiangsu Gomon New Energy Co Ltd and Jiangsu Naisi Digital Technology Inc Ltd, both of which are based in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, have participated in exhibitions in Russia and Mexico.
Jingjiang's manufacturing enterprises have also participated in nearly 20 exhibitions so far this year to showcase their latest products and technologies, and gain valuable insights into foreign markets.
