There was plenty of excitement as an invitational tournament football match kicked off on July 13 in Xinhe village in Jingjiang – a county-level city administered by Taizhou city, located in East China's Jiangsu province.

The tournament attracted more than 100 participants from six teams and it featured 15 matches. The games took place on a riverside football field, providing a beautiful backdrop and a comfortable river breeze.
Spectators enjoyed the lively atmosphere and scenic environment. The tournament not only entertained the players but also attracted lots of visitors to the area, raising the village's profile.
In addition to the matches, participants had the opportunity to visit the nearby Yangtze River Wetland Ecological Park and appreciate the conservation of the river.
The event is said to have contributed to the promotion of culture, sports and tourism in Xinhe village. It now plans to further develop its facilities and leverage its green resources for its sustainable economic growth.
The shoreline of the Jingjiang section of the Yangtze River stretches 52.4 kilometers and Jingjiang city is understood to have worked hard on creating an eco-friendly shoreline along the Yangtze River to provide a great environment for residents.
