The county-level city of Jingjiang in East China's Jiangsu province is currently guiding its private enterprises to boost the smart and intelligent transformation of their production.
It is also encouraging them to speed up the establishment of smart workshops and factories and add strong momentum to the high-quality development of its manufacturing industry.

One of beneficiaries is Aland Health Holding Ltd, a manufacturer of customized nutrition products and provider of wellness services. Its customers can now learn about their orders in real time through a customer-to-manufacturer industrial internet platform. It's the first of its kind in its industry, developed by Aland and Alibaba Cloud.
The platform aims to drive innovative research and development through data and better meet the personalized needs of customers.
Zhuang Guoqiang, information technology manager of Aland, said the C2M platform is a new business model that connects consumers and production.
On the one hand, the company delivers products and purchased information and adjusts its product structure and market plan in a timely manner according to its customer's preferences.
On the other hand, the company constructs a "transparent factory" for its customers in terms of the output, as well as monitoring of orders and production – integrating planning, procurement, production and inventory.
"We hope to realize digital-driven management based on the C2M platform," Zhuang said, adding the data generated by the platform has reached 10 trillion bytes.
In recent years, Aland has established four international R&D centers and 11 production bases in Asia, the United States and Europe, with more than 5,000 employees worldwide.
