A symposium on the development strategy for the Special Medical Food Research Institute under the National Innovation Center par Excellence, or NICE, took place on June 22 in the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone – located in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province.
Special medical foods, as the cornerstone of nutritional therapy, are understood to have enormous development potential in the field.
The Taixing Huangqiao EDZ built and is operating the Jiangsu Institute of Bio-fermentation and Future Food Industry, the Special Medical Food Research Institute under NICE and the Jiangsu Future Food Quality Inspection and Testing Center.
That's in a bid to foster the deep integration of the bio-fermentation and future food industries and improve people's overall health.
During the symposium, Jiangsu Jicui Special Medical Food Technology Co Ltd introduced the strategic planning of the special medical food institute for the next 5-8 years.
Attendees conducted discussions on the operational mechanism, profit model, listing path, incentive measures and other aspects of the special medical food institute.
