The new Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute Special Medical Food Research Institute – located in the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – opened its doors for business on May 28.
The research institute was jointly established by the Taixing Huangqiao EDZ and academician team, the Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute and the Taizhou Industrial Technology Research Institute.
The institute's technical committee was formed by eight experts from Jiangnan University, Nanjing University and elsewhere and its research team consists of 30 people with doctorate and master's degrees.
The special medical food research institute focuses on breaking through key technologies for the special medical food industry. It will conduct industrial technology application research and integrated innovation, promoting the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements and incubating technology-based enterprises.
