A nine-member delegation from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Nanjing Forestry University paid a visit to the Huangqiao Economic Development Zone in East China's Jiangsu province on June 9.
The delegation visited leading local high-end equipment manufacturers such as Jiangsu Xinsu Investment and Development Group Co Ltd, Huierxin Machinery (Taixing) Co Ltd, Taixing Hutchin Mfg Co Ltd, and Jiangsu Youcheng CNC Technology Co Ltd, to learn from their experience in digital and intelligent production.

A symposium was later held in Jiangsu Youcheng CNC Technology Co Ltd in a bid to promote mutual high-quality development.
Ma Ping, secretary of the Party committee of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, said that the school will further integrate its talent cultivation chain and sci-tech innovation chain with the zone's industrial and demand chains.
The contracts for an innovation and entrepreneurship practice base for undergraduates and a practice base for postgraduates from Nanjing Forestry University were signed at the scene.
