Five enterprises from the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone in Taixing city, administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province, attended the 2nd Urban Safety and Emergency Management International Summit on May 8.
Held in Shanghai, the exhibition gathered an estimated 600 representative enterprises from this field.
Six exhibition areas were set up, showcasing emergency disaster prevention and reduction, comprehensive rescue equipment, safety protection products, safety industry services, ways of promoting safety knowledge, and emergency management achievements.
Participating enterprises could learn about the latest technologies and products such as drones, emergency relief equipment, and smart security systems.
"The exhibition helps us know about the latest equipment and technologies, and we will keep in contact with relevant manufacturers to apply advanced equipment into our production, thus ensuring safe production," said Xu Zhongyue, deputy manager of Taixing Junye Refrigeration Service Co Ltd.
