A team from Chongning Fund Co made a visit on Aug 23 to the Hailing Industrial Park – located in the Hailing district of Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – on the hunt for new business opportunities.
The visitors took with them a list of recommended business ventures which they thought could settle in the park and went to see executives of the Dongcheng Group, an operator and partner of Hailing Industrial Park.
Since its establishment, the Dongcheng Group has used a fund model to attract investment and Chongning Fund is a cooperative fund serving the company.
The projects that Chongning Fund recommended covered such areas as high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, artificial intelligence, electronic information, among others.
The first company Chongning Fund recommended was a high-tech company focusing on precision injection molds and parts, whose products are widely used in such fields as automobiles, consumer electronics and small household appliances.
The second one was a national-level high-tech enterprise led by academician team from the Chinese Academy of Engineering. It specializes in surface refinement treatment technology for powder metallurgy and complex metal components.
Project roadshows are said to help Dongcheng Group to get to know about the industry orientation of prospective resident companies quickly and gain a deeper understanding of their partners' opinions and evaluation of a project.
Looking ahead, plans are for the Dongcheng Group to continue to work with the cooperative funds to conduct small-scale project roadshows, providing impetus for the industrial development of the park.
