The cultural and creative building in the Hailing Industrial Park – located in Hailing district of Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province – paid tax of 39.60 million yuan ($5.42 million) in the first half this year, exceeding its annual tax payments last year, according to the latest statistics.
Projections are for its tax payment for 2023 to top 60 million yuan.
Focused on attracting businesses in livestreaming e-commerce, inspections and testing, as well as design services, the cultural and creative building is now home to 60 companies.
To become a new highland of the culture industry, the cultural and creative building has continued to explore innovative development paths – including the economic development of headquarters buildings, cultural activities, cultural and creative products and competitions for park honors – among others.
It has also held a raft of cultural events, including a music carnival.
Moving forwards, plans are for the cultural and creative building to develop two new cultural and creative products and it will focus on attracting enterprises engaged in cultural performances and the rental of performance equipment.
