Hailing Industrial Park – located in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province – will provide comprehensive services for cold chain logistics in the wake of a signing ceremony that took place there on Aug 20.
The cold chain logistics plant is funded and operated by Jiangsu Kuaiyitong Cold Chain Logistics Co Ltd.
With a total investment of $30 million, the plant will be situated on the west side of Chunfu Road and the north side of Yunhe Road. It will have a total floor space of 30,000 square meters of cold storage and support facilities.
By introducing first-class intelligent equipment and digital management systems, it will aim to provide a large-scale cold chain logistics system that integrates 20,000 metric tons of refrigeration equipment, distribution and transportation.
On completion, the plant is expected to be a benchmark for smart cold chain warehousing and logistics in the central Jiangsu region, generating annual invoiced sales of 300 million yuan ($41.29 million) and tax payments of 8 million yuan.
