Hailing district in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province, has made the most of its financial funds and has utilized it to improve the lives of its local residents.
Highlighting education, the district has used 140 million yuan ($19.27 million) of the bond fund to build the Jichuan Campus of Chengdong Primary School, as well as two children's activity centers.
It has also allocated 66.31 million yuan to creating incentive subsidies, transportation subsidies, and special funds. This was done to attract more outstanding teachers to the district.
To build a high-quality social security system, the district distributed 56 million yuan to disadvantaged groups, preferential care personnel, and flexible employment personnel between January and June.
It also allocated 39.1 million yuan to medical insurance in order to solve the problem of expensive medical treatment.
In terms of medical resources, Hailing allocated 49.82 million yuan to basic public health services and basic drug subsidies. It also reserved 55 million yuan for the construction of more public health service centers.
Moreover, the district has invested 12.86 million yuan into garbage classification work since the start of this year, in a bid to create a pleasant living environment.
