Manufacturer Taizhou Tianyu Traffic Equipment Co Ltd – based in the Hailing district of Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – has been pursuing sci-tech innovation in its operations and these efforts have clearly paid dividends.
As a leading traffic equipment company in Hailing, it specializes in automobile, motorcycle and electric bike components that main supply Yadea, Tailg, Xin Ri and other electric bike manufacturers.
Its production process for heavy truck and car brackets employs exacting tolerances, so important parts do not have any shrinkages or porosity defects. To meet ever-rising expectations in market demand, the company's R&D group has improved its manufacturing process and product design through the use of innovation.

"After 3 months of R&D, we have increased the product yield by 18 percent and also reduced the cost of labor," said Tu Shuping, financial manager of the company.
With the gradual expansion of the company, its R&D staff has increased from an initial team of 20 to 51 people currently.
Last year, the company invested 8.4 million yuan ($1.22 million) in R&D and the newly developed products generated profit 170 million yuan.
The group's target output value this year is expected to hit 400 million yuan, up 35 percent year-on-year, said Ma Chunguan, deputy general manager of the company.
