The comprehensive logistics park in Gaogang district – also known as the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone in Taizhou city, Jiangsu province – was recently given the title of demonstration logistics park.
Established in 2007, the logistics park has formed an industrial cluster that is dominated by port logistics and bulk commodity processing trade. It provides services such as multimodal transportation, bonded logistics, container transportation, and supply chain management.
The logistics park is currently home to 386 commercial, logistics, and processing enterprises. It sees an annual goods throughput of nearly 50 million metric tons, an annual logistics industry turnover of 2.3 billion yuan ($320.57 million), and an annual import and export value of nearly 10.04 billion yuan.

The logistics park utilizes the high-quality coastline in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River to promote industrial development and upgrading.
By leveraging the advantage of high-quality and low-cost transportation, the logistics park has strived to attract related top enterprises to settle in, thus promoting industrial chain and agglomeration development.
