Hefei high-tech zone company Geovis is set to have its shares listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations, also known as the New Third Board – for small and medium-sized businesses.
As a result, the group, based in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone – in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province – will become the first company in the field of commercial aerospace in China to be listed on the New Third Board.
Established in 2016 in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, Geovis moved to the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in February 2022 in response to Hefei's strategy of developing the digital aerospace information industry.
It is a high-tech enterprise specialized in digital space science and technology services. It is committed – by digital means – to improving, enhancing and expanding the efficiency of satellites, rockets, exploration and to developing outer space.
Currently, there are 38 listed companies – including four having been approved to be listed – in the development zone. They account for 43 percent of the total number of listed companies in Hefei.
Moving forwards, plans are for the development zone to help assist its enterprises to solve their problems to get listed.
It will act to provide one-stop processing services and help resident businesses achieve greater development through the capital markets.
