Chinese artificial intelligence unicorn Ubtech signed a cooperation agreement with Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province, on Aug 11.

According to the agreement, Ubtech will set up its AI application research institute and education headquarters in the zone.

Ubtech is a Shenzhen-based high-tech company dedicated to AI and robot development, while Hefei high-tech zone is home to a robust AI industry.

The two sides will cooperate in pursuing technological innovation in the AI and robotics industry, the establishment of industry standards, as well as the integration of production, education, and research.
