Construction of the first section of Phase III of the Hefei Innovation Industrial Park was recently completed.

Located in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province, the project will span 212 mu (14.13 hectares) and have a total building area of 410,000 square meters.

Phase III comprises R&D office buildings that will house incubation centers or acceleration bases, multi-storey detached buildings for headquarter offices, accelerators, trade display centers, a 27,000–square-meter residential complex, a 3,300–square-meter staff canteen, and other supporting facilities.

It also features fitness facilities such as a basketball court and a swimming pool, and green spaces.

Phase III will be home to enterprises from strategic emerging industries or high-tech industries, such as electronic information, new energy and new materials industries.

The second section of Phase III is expected to be completed before February 2022.
