China Speech Valley gets policy support

East China's Anhui province plans to give full support to the innovative development of the China Speech Valley, according to a recent notice by the provincial government.
The China Speech Valley is the first national-level AI industrial park. It is located in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, capital of Anhui.
The provincial government released a series of supporting policies and a three-year (2021-23) plan in the notice.
Policies include monetary support for the technological innovation of enterprises, the development of startups, business expansion, product promotion and application, and talent cultivation and introduction.
From 2021 to 2025, a total of 800 million yuan ($123.56 million) will be allocated annually to support the development of artificial intelligence, intelligent speech, and information technology in the China Speech Valley.
By 2023, the China Speech Valley's annual operating income is expected to hit 300 billion yuan, with 1,500 to 2,000 enterprises operating in the park.
