Leinao, IMCC-Lab win prize at ICDAR 2021

Leinao and the Intelligent Multimedia Content Computing Lab (IMCC-Lab) recently won third place in the Components Segmentation Task of Document Photos Contest hosted by the 16th International Conference on Document Analysis and Recognition (ICDAR 2021).
Leinao is a brain-like intelligence technology firm based in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province. The IMCC-Lab is at the University of Science and Technology of China in the city.
The contest has attracted 16 teams from universities, research institutes and enterprises from China, Germany, Switzerland and other countries.
Bitahub, a provincial public service facility for artificial intelligence developed by Leinao, provided computing power support for their team during the contest.
Leinao will further explore the application of text detection technology in meter recognition and defect detection in the energy sector, as well as the appearance quality detection of industrial intelligence products.
