Leinao, a Hefei-based brain-like intelligence technology firm, recently captured first prize in the list of 15 Anhui Provincial Artificial Intelligence Award winners.

The award list was unveiled by the Hefei New-generation Artificial Intelligence Industry Development Alliance and the Anhui Artificial Intelligence Society to honor those enterprises that made outstanding contributions for local AI development.

Inspired from the working mechanism of human brain, brain-like intelligence, also called next-generation artificial intelligence, is regarded as the future and goal of artificial intelligence.

Leinao has close cooperation with the national laboratory of brain-like intelligence technology of the University of Science and Technology of China. It carries out the industrialization of sci-tech achievements from the laboratory, which is the only national-level R&D platform in the field of brain-like intelligence.

In addition, Leinao has applied artificial intelligence technology in the energy sector. It has carried out the smart transformation of power grids in more than 10 provinces, including Anhui, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, and Guizhou.
