Network security firm Venustech invests in Hefei
Chinese network security firm Venustech signed a cooperation agreement with Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone on July 26 to jointly establish its regional headquarters in the zone.
The firm will increase investment in Hefei's security industry through the newly signed project which focuses on cutting-edge technology research, specialized security services and talent cultivation.
Established in Beijing in 1996, Venustech is the largest and earliest enterprise in the information security market in China and has developed a series of network security products and trusted security management platforms.
Aiming to build a "China Security Valley", Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone is actively introducing related innovative enterprises to form an industrial cluster, which will lay a solid foundation for the development of cyberspace security. "We plan to build a network security industry worth 150 billion yuan ($24.17 billion) by 2025," said Kan Rui, deputy director of the science and technology department of the zone.
