A medical service base for high-caliber personnel was inaugurated in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone on July 5.

Sponsored by the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University, the base will provide healthcare services with high-quality medical resources to scientists and entrepreneurs in the zone.

The high-tech zone branch of the hospital integrates medical care, teaching, research, prevention, recovery and first-aid. With high-end medical equipment and technologies, it plays an important role in driving the development of the medical industry in the zone.

Doctors and nurses at the branch can speak English, allowing them to better serve foreign patients.

A total of more than 50 attendees, including government officials, employees at the hospital and representatives from 13 enterprises discussed medical cooperation at the inauguration ceremony.

In recent years, the zone has introduced a number of hospitals and schools in an effort to improve its environment and attract more talents.
