Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone unveiled its work plan of this year to foster more high-growth enterprises at a conference on June 14.

The zone will implement more supporting measures in the form of favorable policies, high-end enterprises introduction, an upgraded original service system and stronger publicity.

It is the second year for the zone to hold the conference, which focuses on how to incubate high-growth enterprises such as gazelle enterprises (enterprises that have overcome challenges and entered a fast-growing period) and unicorn enterprises (startups with a valuation exceeding $1 billion).

Representatives from high-growth enterprises, technology institutes, incubators and investment institutions attended the conference and gave their opinions on how to develop a high-growth enterprise.
