China Speech Valley was ratified as an A-level entrepreneurial base by the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Anhui Province on June 13.

The A-level classification means that more than 60 percent of enterprises in the entrepreneurial base conducted business mainly in emerging industries such as industrial design, digital technology and information technology.

With a focus on artificial intelligence (AI), China Speech Valley is the first entrepreneurial base in Hefei city to meet the requirements.

Evaluators spoke highly of the innovative measures China Speech Valley has implemented in order to improve entrepreneurial services and foster startups.

Qi Dongfeng, an employee at China Speech Valley, emphasized the importance of startup projects with significant potential. "We will strive to make China Speech Valley a top choice for entrepreneurs and hope to increase the number of enterprises from 500 to over 1000."

Owing to an industrial promotion mechanism jointly established by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Anhui provincial government, China Speech Valley, the only national-level industrial base in the field of AI, will take advantage of the explosive growth of AI technology to develop itself into a Chinese AI industry highland.
