Anhui's provincial capital of Hefei is rolling out a variety of events, in response to the 2019 National Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week running from June 13 to 19.

During the week, the city is providing companies with the opportunity to showcase their latest scientific and technological achievements, and facilitate the implementation of startup projects through promotional activities.

The main events -- including the kickoff ceremony, on-site policy consultation and achievements exhibitions – were scheduled at Anhui Innovation Center, China's first innovation-themed pavilion, on June 13-14.

At the launch ceremony on June 13, the host presented the big progress the city has made in promoting mass innovation and entrepreneurship to Premier Li Keqiang via a video link from Hangzhou in Zhejiang province -- the main venue for the innovation week this year.

After the ceremony, a quality project was lauded by nine investment institutions and became the winner of a roadshow event launched by Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone.
