The security industry in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone is experiencing significant development potential with the emergence of a batch of innovative enterprises in the zone.

The zone is planning to boost the industry's development in its industrial parks and aims to achieve a total value of 150 billion yuan ($20.71 billion) in the network security industry by 2025.

Brainware Terahertz Information Technology Co in the zone, widely known for its terahertz series body detector, has contributed to the 2019 Boao Forum for Asia's security through the use of its carborne mobile security checkpoint.

The product integrates cutting-edge technology and adopts a new "non-radiative, non-contact and non-stop" model at security checkpoints, thus greatly improving efficiency and safety.

Moving forward, the zone will gather more enterprises in the security industry and leverage its scientific and technological resources to help build research and innovation centers for technological development.
