The Hefei pavilion showcased advanced products developed by the city's enterprises during the 15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center from May 16 to 20.
A virtual news anchor developed by intelligent speech tech firm iFlytek attracted many visitors with its multi-language broadcasting. Its voice was synthesized through speech recognition based on artificial intelligence technology, an employee of the company explained.
In addition, the company brought its latest product - "AI note" - the world's first tablet to use intelligent speech technology for media practitioners and writers.
The technology was able to directly convert the employee's words into text on the screen, which could then be edited and modified with a stylus at any time. The device can be used to check email or read books, among an array of other applications, and is easy to carry.
Office product provider Yunxi Technology displayed a smart seal which requires a fingerprint scan to activate, providing a firewall for the safety of governments and enterprises by integrating internet of things technology.
Visitors also got the chance to appreciate the unique scenery of Anhui province through an exhibit developed by pavilion design company Anda Exhibition.
Users need only touch the mobile terminal with their hands and slide up and down to see 3D displays of Anhui's famous people, mountains and buildings.
