Royalstar, an appliance manufacturer owned by Whirlpool Corp, was recognized for its freshness preservation technology at the China Refrigerator Industry Symposium in Beijing on May 16.

The product, known as BCD-592WDGBFR, made an impressive showing at the event, with its capacity to freeze up to 10 kilograms of food, as well as its original 3D preservation technology which maintains the moisture and nutrition of frozen products.

Whirlpool Corp, a United States home appliance manufacturer, opened its China headquarters and global research and development center in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone on May 24 last year and is increasing investment in China this year.
