A conference serving as a matchmaker between projects and capital was held in Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone on May 10, providing space to display more than 100 projects from tech firms for more than 50 investment institutes.

A total of 11 high-quality projects gave a roadshow at the conference, showing their achievements in science and technology.

Capital support means a lot for the development of small and medium-sized startups. Thanks to previous matchmaking platforms, a series of projects were financed in 2018.

Anhui Zhong'an Chuanggu Technology Park Co, a service company for innovation and entrepreneurship and the organizer of the conference, issued an almanac recording their performance in 2018.

The company promoted 74 projects through 21 activities, including roadshows and salons, and obtained funding worth more than 50 million yuan ($7.27 million) for seven projects last year. 

The conference also saw the inauguration ceremony of a science and innovation center sponsored by the company, which is being set up with the goal of integrating resources to facilitate the development of advanced technologies.
