The Anhui Innovation Center, China's first innovation-focused pavilion, opened in Hefei, capital of Anhui province, on April 24.

The pavilion is also China's first 5G smart pavilion and marks the spot where Li Jinbin, Party secretary of Anhui, made Anhui's first 5G call.

The pavilion, which has an investment of 1.07 billion yuan ($158.4 million), covers an area of 82,000 square meters and consists of three sections focusing on the display, transformation process and services for innovative products, respectively.

According to the Hefei Science and Technology Bureau, 60 percent of a total of 1,042 exhibits are from Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone.

As a quantum center possessing five quantum technical enterprises and more than 20 quantum-related enterprises, the zone was an integral part of the quantum information exhibition.
