AIMERBIO (Hefei), a new biotech company focusing on polypeptide drugs, was established in Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone in Anhui province on April 20.

As a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), the company will facilitate the application of innovative polypeptide technology and the industrialization of polypeptide drugs.

CDMO is a company that serves other companies in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis to provide comprehensive services from drug development through drug manufacturing.

During the opening ceremony, the company signed investment agreements with partners to make full use of capital to provide services for the research and development of related technologies.

The company also held an academic forum in the afternoon, inviting experts and scholars from home and abroad to exchange their views on the current global trends of the biopharmaceutical industry and the development of polypeptide drugs.
