A salon was held on April 19 by the Anhui Scientists Association and Hefei International Talent City in Anhui province's Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone, attracting a total of more than 60 attendees including representatives of high-tech enterprises and members of the association.

The salon was held to encourage high-tech enterprises to list on the new Shanghai science and technology board by interpreting related policies and exploring possible avenues for listing.

Li Xing, a guest speaker at the salon and an economist from the Central University of Finance and Economics, gave a report on development opportunities that the new sci-tech board may bring to innovative tech companies and investors.

Li described how the new sci-tech board could help ease financing problems and accelerate the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. Following this, attendees exchanged views and asked questions.
