High-tech enterprise CIQTEK (Hefei), headquartered in Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone, launched the world's first quantum teaching computer for public use on April 16.

The enterprise, which focuses on quantum precision measurement, developed the computer to cultivate more quantum engineers for the rapidly growing quantum industry. Unlike traditional teaching methods, the new computer will help students to observe quantum systems first hand and teach them practical skills in the field.

The computer is small enough to be put on a desk and can operate in room temperature.

CIQTEK (Hefei) is striving to provide high-end equipment to universities, enterprises and institutes for their research on core technologies and has won a host of awards including the national second prize in the natural science category.
